About Pole Body & Arts
Who we are. What we stand for. Why we exist.
Whether you're stepping into a pole studio for the first time or continuing your training, our goal is simple: help you feel powerful, supported, and unapologetically yourself.
Pole Body & Arts is a queer-owned, women-owned pole studio built on inclusivity, confidence, and community. With locations in Charlotte and Winston-Salem, we are a pole studio rooted in a growing pole dance community, providing a safe, affirming space where every body is welcome to explore movement, strength, and self-expression.
The Story Behind Pole Body & Arts
Pole Body & Arts was founded in 2020 by Tiffany — a pole dancer with over 10 years of experience competing, performing, and teaching — and Olivia — a mom who was looking for a fun way to continue her weight loss journey and fell in love with pole dancing. Like many powerful ideas, the studio was born out of a need: a need for a pole space that truly accepted everyone — all genders, all body types, all abilities, and the sex work community.
Pole Body & Arts was created to change that.

Our Mission & Values
Everything we believe about Pole Body & Arts is grounded in safety, inclusion, and self-expression
Inclusivity & Diversity
We actively welcome people of all body types, genders and abilities. Our students can practice vulnerable movement in a supportive space and feel comfortable to wear whatever they feel good in without judgement.
Women-Owned & Queer-Owned
Our ownership and leadership reflect the community we serve, and that identity is central to how we operate and show up.
Be Unapologetically You
This isn't just a tagline — it's a philosophy. We believe confidence is built through permission, not perfection.
Community-Driven Culture
We value connection just as much as technique. Friendships, support, and shared wins matter here.
More than a Pole Studio
Pole Body & Arts offers an experience that goes beyond traditional classes
Open Gym with Extended Access
We're the only studio in the region offering extensive Open Gym hours, allowing students to train independently between classes.
Highly Trained, Supportive Instructors
Our instructors prioritize safety, consent, encouragement, and skill progression
LGBTQ+ Affirming Environment
We are proud to be a space where queer folks, trans students, and gender-diverse bodies are respected and celebrated.
Fun, Empowering Atmosphere
Yes, we take safety and technique seriously — but we also believe movement should be joyful.
Wide Range of Class Offerings
From beginner pole to advanced training, conditioning, stretch, choreography, and events, there's space to grow at every stage.
Our Community and Culture
Our studios are filled with students supporting each other through first climbs, personal breakthroughs, performances, and celebrations. Confidence grows here — not just on the pole, but in everyday life.
Many students walk through our doors looking for fitness and leave having found friendships, self-trust, and a sense of belonging. This is a community where you don't have to fit in — you already do.
